Introducing the team – Nava

Nava

Nava Tintarev

Hi! My name is Nava and I am interested in both how people and computers work. Sometimes I wonder which one of the two is the most complicated! Actually, I am really interested in making sure that computer programs make sense to people. Part of that is explaining computer processes to people in a way that is understandable. I am interested in what kind of things are important for each person to know about how the computer does things. It really depends on what they need the information for. Some bits of information are more important for one person than another, and things can be said in many different ways — but some ways are definitely easier to understand than others!  Sometimes graphs are better than words too, so I will be doing studies with people to figure out the best ways to present information depending on who is using the system (and how they are going to use it).

If you want to learn more about the type of stuff I have worked on before, you can also visit my webpage. Stay posted and get to know the rest of the team over the next days and weeks! 🙂
